HPC LONG RANGE PLAN

December, 2007 - The renewal to the C3.ca Long Range Plan for High Performance Computing in Canada has been completed. We wish to acknowledge the support of the community for their continued efforts and support for this very important document. As one of C3.ca's legacy, the renewal document we hope will continue to reinforce with funding agencies the need for sustained HPC infrastructure and highly qualified people. C3.ca has also prepared a short document that provides "speaker-notes" for those who are in contact with funding agencies that will help to reinforce the need for continued investment in HPC. HPC growth enables state of the art research and development for the benefit of all Canadians.

$88 MILLION for HPC

CFI and NSERC announce support of the NPF submission. This cash infusion will be used to Create a National HPC Network thus meeting one priority goal of the HPC Long Range Plan.
